For a major food industry player, TPS manufactures dryer conveyor slats in 4404 stainless steel, with LR2.5×15 Z10×18 perforation.
The difficulty does not lie only in the perforation. Each slat must be fully compatible with the conveyor drive system, its chains, its assembly points and its mechanical transmission.
Using parts of the existing conveyor, including chain links supplied by the customer, TPS carries out the trials needed to validate fit and mechanical interfaces.
We then take care of the whole manufacturing process: perforation, profile cutting, specific bending, fitting of accessories, assembly rods and assembly of the slats, until we have a unit ready to be installed.
A complete part, designed for replacement
The customer works on its equipment during scheduled production shutdowns. The challenge is therefore to have fully compliant parts that can be fitted immediately, to limit downtime on its lines.
TPS adapts to the characteristics of each installation and supplies complete slats ready to replace the existing ones.
