QHSE & CSR commitments

Responsible industry, with common sense

At TPS, we believe that the performance of an industrial company rests first and foremost on simple fundamentals: manufacture well, serve well and keep improving over time.

QHSE policy

Our QHSE policy is built around three pillars that guide our day-to-day work:

Quality

what we make

Service

how we do it, for our customers and our teams

Performance

how we do it sustainably

This approach is part of a commitment to continuous improvement, with a deliberately practical approach suited to our industrial reality.

Quality

Our first requirement: to do things well

Quality is part of the TPS culture. It starts with listening to and understanding the customer’s needs, and is then present at every stage of our manufacturing.

Certified to ISO 9001, TPS relies on a management system that allows us to control our processes, monitor our results and identify the improvements needed.

For us, however, quality is not just a certificate or a final inspection.

It is first and foremost a collective responsibility: doing things right from the start, and striving to do better tomorrow.

Service

Closeness as a method

In an industrial company, service is measured in facts: a quick response, a deadline met, a solution found and a contact who is available.

We favour a direct relationship with our customers and seek to understand their constraints in order to provide the right answers.

Customer satisfaction and keeping our commitments are at the heart of our approach.

Service also concerns our employees. Risk prevention, safety and improving working conditions are an integral part of our responsibility.

Performance

Producing better, not just producing more

Industrial performance means making better use of our resources: materials, energy, equipment, time and skills.

We are constantly working to improve our organisation and processes, control our costs and bring ideas up from the shop floor.

This pursuit of performance goes hand in hand with better control of our environmental impact: reducing losses, sorting, recycling and recovering waste are among the actions under way at TPS.

For us, sustainable performance starts with industrial common sense.

Our CSR approach

A practical approach, on our scale

We do not want CSR to be a message disconnected from our business.

At TPS, it takes the form of simple choices: controlling our consumption, limiting waste, working with our partners over the long term and contributing to the life of our region.

Our commitments

Local commitment

As an industrial company rooted in its region, TPS values close local relationships.

Where relevant, we favour local suppliers, partners and synergies, helping to preserve know-how and industrial activity in our region.

Our local commitment also goes beyond the professional sphere.

TPS supports several local associations and sports clubs, including Union Sportive de Maubeuge (USM) and Sambre Avesnois Handball (SAHB).

Because a company is also part of the life of its community.

Responsible purchasing

Our relationships with our suppliers are based on trust, transparency, quality and ethics.

Price is obviously a factor in our decisions, but it is not the only one. Reliability, the quality of products and services, proximity where relevant and the ability to build a lasting relationship also count in our choices.

TPS has signed up to the UIMM CSR Charter « + Engagés + Performants », which supports us in structuring and improving our approach.

We do not currently hold a CSR label. Our choice is to move forward step by step, with practical actions consistent with our business and our resources.

An industry that moves forward

TPS is also a member of La French Fab, a movement that brings together companies committed to developing and transforming French industry.

This membership reflects who we are: an industrial company that builds on its know-how, invests in its future and strives to progress without losing its identity.

Quality. Service. Performance.

Three pillars for one ambition:

Do things well. Be reliable. Keep improving.
